How to apply a face serum?
It is best to apply a face serum after cleansing and toning but before you apply a moisturiser. This is because moisturisers tend to be in a thicker creamy texture and so the serum will struggle to absorb well through it.
The best way to apply a face serum is as follows:
- Start off by giving your face a quick massage, this will encourage blood flow to the skin which will help absorption
- Pour a small amount of serum into the palm of one hand
- With your other hand, dab your fingertips into the serum
- Now gently dab the serum all over your face
- Leave it to absorb for at least sixty seconds before moving on to your remaining skincare routine.
