Together Health Vitamin B12 Capsules are sourced from organic shiitake mushrooms with 3 natural forms of B12, this supplement provides the optimal form of this vitamin. As it is sourced from whole foods, it is more easily digested and absorbed by the body than standard isolated supplement forms, and also benefits from many cofactors such as polysaccharides, folate, selenium and iodine.
Three forms of Vitamin B12:
This supplement includes 3 natural forms of B12, which each play a unique role. Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin are active in the cell plasma, nerves, brain and mitochondria (our energy production workers) while Hydroxcobalamin ensures a long-lasting and uniform supply of B12.
Why is B12 a key nutrient?
Although only required in small amounts, vitamin B12 plays an essential role in our bodies. Low intake can lead to a loss of energy, anaemia and damage to the nervous system. As it is only found in animal products or fortified foods, B12 is difficult for vegans to obtain from diet alone.
