I have suffered with horrendous dry eye for a few years now and it was making me utterly miserable. This condition has definitaly been hormone related but the other remedies aimed at balancing hormones only eased my dry eye symptoms slightly. Magnesium has pretty much eradicated my dry eye. If I miss a day or so I start feeling unwell again. I'm on a subscribe and save so that I'm never without again.
Not only has magnesuim helped with my dry eye but it's also improved my sleep. Before taking this, a day or so before a period I'd get insomnia where I'd wake in the small hours and not be able to get back to sleep. It has generally eased other discomforts associated with the monthly cycle.
I like this product as each tablet contains 200mg, as compared to other brands which go with a far lower dose. I understand the reason most brands pitch their dose lower is because a high level of magnesium can cause diarohea. I think the rda for adults is in the region of 400-500mg depending if make/female/pregnant/level of deficiency. I've never found this a problem, in fact I usually struggle with the opposite problem so it would be a bonus anyway!
In short, great product for me and I would highly recommend to anybody suffering with similar issues to mine.

...big and def. need a glass of water with. They are supposed to help with sleep and reduce problems with constipation. I think it's a mild effect and hard to judge without large-scale scientific studies. Looking at examine.com to see what's known in the science literature, I think magnesium is a good supplement and is worth taking.
