UniBac Essential 9 Probiotic Blend is an everyday probiotic blend containing over 6 Billion live bacteria per two capsules with nine unique strains including Acidophilus, Lactobacillus, L.Rhamnosus and L. Plantarum.

How to use: Take 2 capsules a day with a breakfast / meal or as advised by a health professional. Take with water or juice.

The strength of the daily dose of 6 billion CFU (two capsules) is at the low end of the recommended daily dosage according to NHS guidelines. However,
... the ingredients would seem to be of good quality and include Fructo-oligosaccharides from natural plant sugars as a prebiotic (bacteria food) instead of the more commonplace Inulin. They are easy to swallow, have no discernable taste, and we have not experienced any unpleasant or unwanted side effects. We like the handy flip-top containers. We will see how we get on with taking these, but I have to say that they are quite expensive, especially for such a low dose, and with two of us taking two capsules per day, it works out at over £56 per month which is prohibitive, at least for us it is.
