There's a slight aftertaste to this product, unlike my previous collagen supplement. Not a problem if mixed with strong-tasting drinks/shakes, but if you prefer to take it mixed with water you would notice it.

...ealable bag is stuffed to the brim. (No wasteful over-packaging here.) At my current rate of use (1 heaped half tablespoon daily) this is going to last me a long long time. Maybe I'll take advantage to up my dose.
I would always choose a hydrolysed collagen, as I have read too many reviews complaining about grittiness and an unpleasant residue / smell. The seller suggests taking the collagen in a drink, hot or cold. However, I think I have a better system. I mix my dose of collagen with the other dry ingredients of the keto/low carb fish cakes I make. The collagen contributes zero carbs, but helps glue the fish cakes together.
I hope collagen will help my bones, nails and skin.
I would have liked this collagen to be from grass-fed cattle, as are some other brands. It is perhaps a little expensive, given this limitation. However, I do like that it is unflavoured, with no additives. IMO the powder form is far preferable to pills, as you can make your own decision as to the dose you want to take, and you are consuming ONLY pure collagen.

I've find it best to mix and drink it quickly with water. Although it says unflavoured, I found that it has a slight after taste and therefore made my coffee taste strange and I do love my morning coffee. For this reason I decided not to try it in food. Simply having it in water has been fine.
