The shampoo bar is okay and does clean the hair, although takes a bit more effort than usual. It does lather, but takes a while, especially for longer
... and thicker hair (I use just on my scalp though). During the second shampooing stage, it does lather much quicker (guess because the hair is already wet and moist). Unfortunately, I do look at my hair wash as a chore now, knowing it will take much longer time and effort. It also leaves my hair squeaky and not really moisturised. The smell is bare minimum and is just okay, would not agree that it's amazing and smells so much as people say. Overall, great alternative to plastic bottles and to the environment, although will be looking out for something different next time.

...t wash out properly. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It cleans my hair well amd does lather (not like a shampoo from a bottle though) enough to feel like your hair is being cleaned. I do need to use a conditioner though, always have as my hair is very dry but I'm definitely sticking with a shampoo bar now. In fact, I recently bought another one of these so I'm stocked up for a good while.

However, as I've worked my way through the bar I have not found the results to be lasting. It reached the point where I felt it needed washing daily. I started to use in conjunction with other shampoo bar to keep my hair on its toes, which seems to have helped. Is a faff though having multiple bars on the go.
For my needs I'm not sure it's my all-time favourite shampoo, but if you don't mind washing your hair daily it's superb!

...ever is just amazing. I have never known my hair so soft and smooth. It has massively reduced my frizz (mix of curly and straight hair). My scalp does not feel sore or itchy. The scent is mild and my hair remains clean for so long. In fact, my hair is so soft I am struggling to keep it tied up for rugby.
It does take some getting used to, and I do wash my hair twice. The lather is less and the hand method I found is not that effective, however this does not take away from the difference it has made to my hair. Have bought another bar in a different scent

It's not all bad:
Scent ⭐⭐ doesn't have a particularly strong scent (to be expected with the Shea one) but other Faith in Nature products do
Lather ⭐ barely lathers, bar quite crumbly
Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐ kept hair clean for a couple of days
Conditioning ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ did not require any additional conditioner
The lack of lather/crumbly nature really put me off with this bar, other bars that I have tried lasted a lot longer, I used about a third of the bar in 2 weeks (I cut up the bar and then store it in Tupperware after use once dried out). I might try one of the other bars that are not aimed at conditioning next time. For now the best option I have come across is one of the Lush shampoo bars.
