I pump it into my hands to mix the two different textures and then pat it in. Do not rub as I find it pills if touched too much. I only gave this product four stars due to the smell which I do not find particularly pleasant and quite chemically. However this does soon fade. Overall it is a great anti-aging product that makes my skin feel soft and plumper.
