... but this, coupled with the really poor performance of the new serum, has persuaded me to look elsewhere -
I am 39, olive skin, mixed skin type (more oily than dry). I’ve been using this product for almost 6 years and will continue for many years to come
... because I have yet to find another product that rivals this one (which is a pity because I like to change my products around occasionally so that my skin doesn’t get too used to one). When using this oil, less is more, I literally only use 2 drops mixed in with a bit of night cream (although I was told night cream isn’t necessary) and this bottle will last me ages! I can’t say exactly how long it lasts because I share it with my flat mate, plus I have another bottle for traveling because I travel a lot for my work, but I’ll only buy this once a year. The difference it makes on my skin is that it fills in fine lines, and I also find that if I get a sore on my skin from either squeezing something or scratching myself, the wound heals and the scab falls off much faster. I also love this smell, although I can imagine for some people, it might be too strong, especially if the fragrance doesn’t appeal to you. I give this a 10 out of 10! -

... ly surprised at how good this Blue Orchid facial oil from Clarins was on my skin. It has a lovely fragrance, which once applied quickly dissipates to a light subtle fragrance on the skin.
The oil is really nice to use and takes no time at all to absorb. I find that in my centrally heated atmosphere at work and home, this oil really prevents the dry flaking patches that I can get on my cheeks and forehead. I have also used this oil on my hands and forearms and again, the effect is very good and lasts for most of the day.
I apply the oil morning and night and so far it seems that a little goes a long way, so for me very good value. This one is definitely on my Xmas shopping list.
