Caudalie is one of my favorite brands, and always has been. I used to buy Caudalie all the time (the Caudalie toner is to this day still my favorite a
...nd the one thing I always make sure I have). I was excited to try a new Caudalie product and especially excited that its a glycolic peel mask.
I found this to be really gentle but still effective on my skin. I was curious whether this would have one of those amazing Caudalie fragrances (Caudalie does facial product fragrances right) but it doesn't. It's white and easy to spread like a cream. This is a twice a week 10 minute rinse off mask. Easy and simple. I've used it once this week and my skin felt softer immediately after. I didn't experience any redness or irritation common with glycolic acid use.

It took me a while to do this review because I wanted to make sure I used it for a while before giving my two cents. I've been using this for the
... past 3 months. Although the instructions say to use twice a week, I am a little more cautious with more powerful ingredients like glycolic acid, AHAs, so I don't use this as often as I'm supposed to. I remember starting off with just once a week, then I tried 2x a week, and luckily my skin did just fine - just slight tingles. I went back and forth between once and twice a week, but never more. Make sure you use sunscreen after (in the day time that is) using products with glycolic acid otherwise you will be undoing the "good" you did for your skin. While it didn't erase any of my sun spots, I definitely saw my complexion brightened. My skin always looks darker, reddish, and more clogged up during the summer because the heat gets my pores all clogged, but this definitely gave my skin the radiance I was trying to achieve. I am actually quite surprised by the results of this as I tend to stick to more natural products and am scared of using chemical type products. This product made me less scared of things like glycolic acid / AHAs because my skin did just fine. This product actually has a good amount and will last you a while since this isn't something to be used daily. I don't usually mention pricing in my reviews but I thought this was reasonably priced for a Caudalie product. Overall, I think this is a wonderful product, but I shouldn't be too surprised because Caudalie products have always worked great on my skin.

... tear the skin. It also has “Viniferine†to address dark spots. The mask looks like a white cream and not much is needed to cover my whole face (avoiding my eye area). I apply the mask after cleansing and rinse off after 10 minutes.
The fragrance is subtle and pleasant. I have sensitive and dry skin and didn't realize this mask isn't recommended by Caudalie for sensitive skin. Still, although it makes my skin tingle and feel a bit warm for a little while, it doesn't burn my skin, give it a rash or make my face red. My skin actually tolerates the mask quite well, but it does contain a number of potential sensitive skin irritants.
My skin looks fresh and bright after using this mask. I follow with a good hydrating serum and a cream without harsh ingredients (no retinol, etc.). My skin seems to absorb my products better after the exfoliation as it feels well moisturized, smooth and comfortable when I follow with my normal products. I can't yet judge the effect on dark spots as mine are subtle now and most products take time to get rid of dark spots anyway. But I'm happy with how my skin feels and looks so far. 5 stars.

... sensitive skin, but faded in an hour or two, and no tingling or other issues. Skin didn't dry or flake after use, as some Vitamin C based masks have done for me previously. (This one actually uses their own, proprietary Vitamin C-like ingredient for results, but similar function.)
Because my skin is a little sensitive, this isn't the sort of thing I'd use even weekly, but mixed into my regular mask rotation, I like a brightening, enzyme mask as I think there's nothing better at making skin feel baby soft.

...he sun. I finally decided to give this a try and I'm glad I did. It is very gentle and a good starter peel. It feels like a moisturizer going on, but drys down slightly like a mask. There is a slight smell, but nothing terrible. I use it for 10 minutes on Mondays and Fridays and I have noticed a difference in my skin. The spots on my face have faded and my skin looks brighter and healthier. I haven't had any irritation from this peel mask. I wish I had not waited so long to try this. It's a little pricey but a little goes a long way and I am seeing results. I think this mask is going to be a good way to build up my tolerance for something a little stronger later down the line. ...39;m using I only use this every ten days. That being said this is the only enzyme peel that I've tried that I'll say I liked, well I actually love. I vowed not to try anymore but when I saw one by my loved brand Caudalie I decided to try this one last peel. I'm super impressed. I apply a thin layer to my face and following the directions leave it on for 10 min. I don't have particularly sensitive skin it can be mildly sensitive to certain chemicals. I haven't experienced any issues. I did feel a bit of tingling which is usual for me with glycolic acid. I found this easy to remove. I really love the results my complexion really looked radiant. I'll be using this weekly when I'm finished with a treatment I'm currently using. I don't have have hyperpigmentation or dark spots, but this does more than just help with those problems. I'm very impressed with how fantastic my skin looks. I love the healthy glow. I saw some excellent instantaneous results. I think this is worth the price. I recommend trying this product.

I have combination sensitive skin and have always found Caudalie products to work well on my skin. I have had reactions to glycolic peels in the past
...but this is a milder enzyme peel. I was careful to use it for only 10 minutes and rinse it off and experienced no redness or sensitivity or irritation. It did leave my skin feeling softer and well treated. I expect that over time, it will help reverse sun damage and I'm glad to continue with this peel mask regularly.

I've only used this 5 or 6 times and it's most definitely lightening up my little sun spots, as well as smoothing out the texture of my skin

... this religiously 2 times a week for 4 weeks now and I think my spots have lightened up slightly. This isn't going to give instant results so be patient! I like that it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. Slight tinging sensation but it never caused any redness. The smell isn't the greatest but not bad. A thin layer is good enough so don't waste by using too much. Don't use it for over 10 minutes because it may dry out your skin. Recommended!
