This brightening glycolic essence is no different. Using as the last step (before applying moisturiser) it leaves my skin feeling refreshed without drying it out. It also acts a little like and exfoliant as I feel that it's removing some of the dead skin left from a day of being out and about.
It comes in a lovely glass bottle and you really don't need much of it so I'm sure it'll last for a while.

In the makers description images, it says "the product uses Grape Water, which is Hydrating, soothing, antioxidant and prebiotic, refines skin texture and brightens and evens skin texture, and Anti dark spots".
Really impressive feel too. Whilst the wife used a cotton pad for her face and neck, I found it easier to place some of the liquid on the back of my hand to apply, rather than the tips of my fingers, (as I felt some of it wasted through the finger tips), so whilst then placing some on the back of my hand, made
it so much easier to apply to my neck areas specially.
After applying a small amount, both my face and neck just felt so fresh in every way.

I do love Caudalie products as they are good quality, enjoyable to use and are efficacious but I don't think I've used their essence before

It comes in a good quality frosted glass bottle but the outer plastic lid came away from the inner part the first time I opened it which didn't give a premium experience.
The product itself is nice to use, as expected. It's light and fluid and is applied by sweeping it across the face and neck with a cotton pad. It gently exfoliates my skin leaving a more refreshed, less dull complexion. It also evens out skin tone and texture.
With so many of us using multiple skincare products in our daily routine, an essence may seem like an unnecessary additional step but I find they do add extra benefits and help provide a good base for the next products in my skincare routine.
