While the mask is on the skin feels extremely soft and smooth and once washed off I can feel lasting hydration, I can feel it sitting on the skin though it doesn't feel heavy and it does pill if I rub my fingers on the skin so I prefer to use it as a 10 minute mask after using clay or any drying mask for impurities.
The listing says it's unscented but it definitely has a very light and pleasant scent, similar to seaweed or dead sea masks and face washes I've used in the past and there is also fragrance listed as the last ingredient so it's a minimal amount but definitely can't be classed as unscented.

I so not remove it after 10 minutes, I leave it on until all is absorbed (over 30 minutes for me) and also it's okay to use it on skin ear eyes. I have not put it on my eyelids but used under my eyes and around - very nice and skin left more plump and hydrated. A new must have on my shelf. Recommended.

...his one is a bit more ordinary in its effects. One thing I do like about it is that it can be used as a mask despite its somewhat thin consistency for a mask. (It's not a heavy cream.) I prefer to use it as a nighttime treatment, and wake up to hydrated skin. For those concerned about fragrance in their skincare, know that this has a faint (and to me, pretty unpleasant) scent, but it dissipates quickly. And I do think it should be shipped in either a sealed box or with a seal on the tube; this came with no seals whatsoever, which is partly why I thought this perhaps not quite up to Caudalie standards.
