...ff. I just scooped it into an empty Lancome jar that I sterilized in boiling water and then I recycled the little plastic cup.
This is a very nice (but traditionally French) night cream. In the jar, it seems a bit lighter weight than I was expecting with a fluffy gel-like consistency, but it maintains its integrity when it hits the skin and is actually quite dense when you spread it on. It doesn't absorb completely but sits on top of the skin, making it the ideal occlusive final step for my evening routine. As an overnight treatment, it does a good job sealing in moisture and giving me soft plumped skin in the morning.
While it contains proven moisturizing ingredients (including squalane and various plant oils), it's also heavy on the fragrance (both artificial and essential oils), plus it contains alcohol. The scent is strong but appealing - a distinctive powdery floral. Very perfume-y. I think that's pretty typical for French luxury skincare. I don't mind it, but if you have sensitive skin or prefer to avoid fragrance/alcohol, best to skip it.

This is a refill - I do not have the original glass jar, but I just keep it in a little Tupperware container and it works out great! So if you're looking to save a few bucks, you can get the refill without having the jar! But, I do love that they offer a refill!! Not only does it save you some money, but it also helps reduce waste!

The cream goes on super smooth and is super hydrating! I do feel a little tightness when applying, which is a good thing! That's what it's supposed to do since it's hopefully going to help reduce the look of wrinkles (still too early to see a difference).
This has some amazing ingredients with even better benefits, such as:
• Resveratrol - which is a powerful vine antioxidant to visibly firm and reduce the look of wrinkles
• Micro Hyaluronic Acid - which is two molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid hydrate and leave skin feeling soft
• Olive Squalane - which is supposed to help nourish and moisturize during the skin's repair phase
• Vegan Collagen 1 - which is mahogany bark extract to visibly firm and smooth facial contours overnight
My skin definitely feels soft and moisturized for sure, but again, it's still too early to see any significant changes, but I'm hopeful as I know this is a well known and trusted brand! But, if for some reason I do not see any results after I am finished this refill, I will come back and update my review accordingly!
