A lot of Caudalie products have a vine leaf scent but this has a light yet indulgent floral scent which I really like. Some rich creams can feel heavy on the skin but this feels quite light while also feeling very nourishing. It feels slightly tacky on the skin for a while after applying but after this dissipates it leaves my skin feeling quite supple.
This can be used in the morning and evening but I use it at night as I find it can sometimes pill under some foundations, which The Cream doesn't do. I use it as my last step in my skincare routine as it seems to help lock in the benefits of the products I use before it.
It's too early to say what the long term benefits are but it's a nice cream to use and my skin likes it.

Having used some other Caudalie products previously, I was already a fan – but this face cream in their Premier Cru range has confirmed for me
...they are up there amongst the very best skincare brands and, in my opinion, better than some other products which cost in the region of twice the price.
This is by no means a cheap product – but it is a fantastic one, and worth every penny. I have typical combination skin, which is prone to irritating dryness through the winter months. As you'd expect from the name, this is a very rich and heavy moisturiser which is a godsend for thirsty skin. A cream which manages to be so lastingly hydrating without feeling in any way greasy is worth its weight in gold. And although my skin is combination, using it all over has not caused me any breakouts in the T-zone. I will happily use this cream in the day time, but those who wear make up daily might find it too heavy and prefer to use it as a night cream.
There is a very mild scent (lovely without lingering) and the grape-coloured packaging is reassuringly stylish. I appreciated that the pot came foil sealed, and even better is that you can purchase refill tubs for the outer glass jar, saving money next time, and saving on packaging too.
This is a superior brand providing sublime facial skin products. 100% recommend.

Since this Premier Cru Rich Cream from Caudalie arrived I've refused to let my wife (or daughters) anywhere near it as it's 's something I've never experienced before and very selfishly, I want it to last as long as possible.
It's absolutely lovely and in a completely different league from what I've ever tried before… simple as that!
From its very soft and pleasant odour to it feeling quite thick in application, only to be very quickly absorbed into your skin, you really do feel like you're applying a bit of class to your face.
The purple jar is stylish and the refill fits perfectly, benefitting from a tiny little lip that gently snaps onto the glass jar itself, keeping everything nice and secure.
