Really nice cleansing lotion. You don't use water though (if I understood the directions correctly) so that's hard to get used to, but it�
...39;s good for sensitive skin. And using less water means less irritation. However, I find it harder to get all my makeup off. I'm still experimenting with it and do recommend the Avene skincare line. It's really amazing for sensitive skin. Leaves my face looking and feeling great!

After a nasty skin flare-up on my face, neck and chest (caused, perhaps, by the use of retinol), I decided to go right back to basics and, after a lit
...tle research, decided on Avene, which is infused with spring water and has a good reputation for dealing with skin sensitivities. I use the Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion (gently massaging into the skin with my fingers) and remove it with a pad soaked in Avene Thermal Spring Water; I then spray my entire face, neck and chest with the Spring Water and, when that has soaked in, I use Avene Tolerance Extreme Creme Riche for my moisturising step. Over the past couple of weeks, having stopped my usual serums etc and having used only Avene products, my skin is now looking much better and feels calm, soothed and moisturised. Although I will, no doubt, gradually want to return to using some of the more active products I was using before the flare-up, I'm very happy now with my skin and intend to continue using the Avene cleansing, toning and moisturising steps as part of my regular skincare routine.

...edients and irritants and buying products with these issues in mind, this has been the only one that hasn't either broken me out massively, or irritated my skin. Such a relief to finally find something. I use it with a warm clean cloth instead of the cotton wool they recommend, but as long as I'm gentle this works just fine. It doesn't dehydrate my skin, but it cleans well. Love the hygienic sterile special opening. This is excellent value for money, it's a largish tube and lasts a while, considerably cheaper than some I've tried, more expensive than others, but definitely worth that money. The ingredients list is impressive - so many products claim to be non irritating and suitable for sensitive skin, this is the first that really, truly lives up to that claim.
